2. Gnu Art Contest - Jan. 30 Deadline
The GNU Horror Art Contest will be judged by Danny Kass!
Start drawing now and send in your art by Jan. 30 to to win one of 3
signed limited edition Danny Kass Pro Models. Winners announced 2/15/04 and
you better be around within 5 days of being named to win.
Draw a ghoul, monster or zombie along with a GNU horror font! ( I don't
know what that means.) Danny Kass's top three picks will receive a signed
limited edition Danny Kass Pro Model in one of its three sizes: 153, 155,

3. Rail Jam in NY City, Central Park Jan. 9
New York Pipe Dreams board shop is proud to announce New York City's
first ever snowboard competition, to be held in Central Park. They have
teamed with The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and the New
York State Olympic Regional Development Authority to produce the
NYC Rail Jam - Sunday January 9 - Central Park's East Meadow.
The NYC Rail Jam will be the Grand Finale of New York's three day long
Winter Festival.
The competition is open to Rep/ Am/ Mountain/ and Shop riders. Prizes are
1st Place = $500 / 2nd Place = $300 / 3rd Place = $200 and lots of
spectators and press will be on hand.
Space is limited to 30 contestants so contact

you'd like to compete.
