1. New on http://www.SnowboardSecrets.com
Just because you haven't heard from me lately doesn't mean I haven't been
really busy working on my site, SnowboardSecrets.com.
Here's what's new:
A robust Google search engine for the site.
Hit "Search" on the Navigation bar, then type in your favorite term to
search and voila!. For example, "Shaun White" is always one of my site's
most searched terms, and 19 references on my site come up for him
including plenty of our original photos of Shaun!
Hand Plant instructions by Aimee Fuller.
Hit "Tricks" on Nav bar, or

Fresh Snowboard News Daily from the news wires
There's a link on my home page underneath the picture of Shaun White in
the fur jacket, and me. Or go to

Think you're too old to start snowboarding?
Nah! Read an
interview with Gordon Lee, one of our readers who turned 75 last week
and has been riding for 4 years. In his spare time, he is learning to ride
a unicycle!
(I learned to ride a unicycle when I was 16, and I'll tell you, you fall
down even more doing that than snowboarding!)
Summer Camp in France
My summer snowboarding project was going back to snowboard camp in Les
Deux Alpes.

GraysonTrays.com Guest Column
John LaPlante wrote us an article about his first experiences
snowboarding. Laugh, cry, identify, especially if you're a new snowboarder
who is "older."

Upcoming: Photo essay pages on The Block, Snowboarder Hotel in South Lake
Tahoe which I enjoyed visiting this summer. And a page on "Spring Loaded
2006" at Killington, VT, one of the most fun events of the season. Both
pages are posted already, but I need to put up captions.

2. New Snowboard Blog
www.SnowboardShorty.com is my new snowboarding blog with an East Coast
slant. Short and to the point. Latest entry is about finding some great
snowboard clothes in discount dept. stores.
If any of you know how I can get this blog more "out there" and easier for
people to find, please help me out! It's still new to me!

New snowboarder profiles are posted at the Who's Who of Snowboarding
http://www.SnowBoardProfiles.com

3. Flexmeter Sale on size Smalls
The Flexmeter protective snowboard wrist guard and glove business is going
fantastically. But I've got some excess inventory that I want to move on
Flexmeter small wrist guards and gloves. I'm only offering this to my
readers and customers, and when they are gone, they're gone.
I will send you a letter explaining the details later. If you're in a
hurry to protect your wrists (limited quantities on sale), just go
here to order. Read more and FAQs at
http://www.flexmeters.com

4. Tech Talk - help wanted here
My terrific Web Objects and PHPMyAdmin web guy has taken a full time job,
so I am interviewing others. I could also use help and advice from someone
experienced at: Google AdWords tweaking, getting a blog disseminated over
the web, general website design and maintenance, selling ads for a site,
and other stuff. And I'm on a budget. Contact me if you can help!
