Get Wet Camp

Professional Snowboarder Max Henault of Quebec offers Snowboard Training Camp on Trampolines and Water, for 10 Intermediate/Advanced Riders this Summer at the facility he uses to train for his own tricks.

Below - Max demonstrates how the trampoline is used to practice big air moves safely over and over.

Q. Max, I hear you are running a summer snowboard camp where campers will practice on ramps and trampolines, in Quebec, in July. No snow, right? How will that help snowboarders learn tricks?

A. Well we've got 3 Big Trampoline, 7x14 feet, where athletes can upgrade their skills jumping around, challenging themselves. And On the Ramps, you can try anything you want. If you crash hard, No Prob, Its only Water. We got a really good Bubble System, so you can land on your head in the water, and it's No Problem. (The bubbles aerate the water and make for a soft landing. They use this bubble system for training at the Salt Lake City Olympic Center.) This is actually THE BEST way to try NEW Tricks, or Get the trick you already know perfect.

Q. What tricks are tramps and ramps good for learning?

A. Anything. With the Trampoline and Snowboard Background, I've got, I can Teach anything to Any Body...!

Q. How did you get the idea to offer this camp?

A. Well I've been training at this center for the last 2 years and that Helps me a Lot. So I know how good this training is for riders who want to get Better.

Q. What age campers are you after?

A. There is no age, just GOOD Riders, people who all ready have good skills snowboarding.

Q. What are the accommodations and meals like?

A. 5 Stars...! Really good, we got Full Breakfast in the morning, A Healthy Lunch and a full Dinner. The Food is just excellent.
