    | Rob AndersonName  Rob Anderson
Started riding in what year? Started snowboarding in 1984 (for real)

What snowboard related business activities are you involved in?  I
officially do nothing professionally in the snowboard world right now!
(could change by winter). Former owner of Axis Boardsports, Brookfield and
    Norwalk CT.

Where did you grow up?  Grew up in Brookfield, CT then on to school
    in VT, then NH

Live now?  Live in Brookfield, CT now

Fave places to ride?  My friend Mike DeStasio's back yard park, (more
fun than you can imagine) and a powder day anywhere.

Do you warm up each day before you ride?  I warm up with a cup of joe
each day before riding, that's about it.

How keep in shape in season? I don't keep in shape at all, any time
    of year

Do you ever get bummed out about your riding, and why? At this point
when I get a day to go riding, I am psyched no matter what, if your friends
back out, or if its raining, or crowded, or icy, it is still the fact that
you are on the hill with your board.  Can't complain much.

What safety equipt. do you  wear, use for snowboarding?  I now wear a
helmet when I ride ( wish I had one a long time ago!)

 What have you
 read - Fast Food Nation
 listened to - Bouncing Souls
 seen - Family Guy
 that you liked lately?

Where have you traveled to lately that you like? I love Maine,
summer, winter, coastal, inland, wherever, I like it all.

Anything that not many people know about you that you would like to
share? I am scared of the ocean

Encouraging words for beginners? Take a lesson!  Don't try to teach
your girlfriend!  I have heard too many stories about that!  The best one
was a girl who was telling me about how the year before her boyfriend who
snowboarded, wanted to teach her how to ride, so he brings her to Mt. Snow,
(VT) and tries for like 1 hour to teach her to ride on the bunny hill, then
gets bored or frustrated, and goes to ride the mountain leaving her there to
figure it out herself.  She is pissed off, but stays out there, floundering
around.  She meets some nice guy who spends the whole afternoon with her and
gives here some basics so she can make it down the hill on her own.  Then
they have a drink, then she decides that old boyfriend sucks, he drives home
alone and new guy gets the girl!

Advice you want to share? No advice, just have fun!
